International Children’s Network has a very particular philosophy regarding support of any kind. ICN’s belief is that every pence and penny donated to any at-risk child around the world is provided for that purpose. Therefore, those that serve on ICN’s Board do not gain financially in serving. The reason they serve is a result of their passion and intense desire to alleviate the challenges facing all of our children in the world.

There is nothing more vulnerable than a child who has no support or protection. There is nothing sadder than to see a child that has no hope when they have every ability in the world to succeed. Therefore, those at the leadership levels of ICN can not and will not gain through the misfortunes of others. Those on the board of ICN have outside and independent finances from independent investments not associated with or a result of ICN. It is the belief of the ICN leadership that every penny or pound be directed towards the financial assistance of the children in need. Any income provided to ICN leadership is only to off-set their current and moderate living standard.

Currently, ICN provides over 90% of every dollar or pound directed to the assistance of the children. This is among the highest rate of distribution provided by any Non-Profit Organization.

It is ICN’s belief that their valuable staff receives valuable pay for the valuable service they provide. Nothing too lavish while at the same time nothing so paltry for the endless hours of work and devotion they provide. It is the belief that staff and volunteers are the back bone of ICN and for this reason, it should not be uncommon to find a staff member being paid more than a person serving on the Board of ICN.

For the reasons stated, ICN has the highest standards of integrity concerning their handling of all financial support. The finances can be viewed at any time by any person. The financial records are audited twice per year by independent auditors. Every person who reviews the pain staking efforts of ICN’s financial records will see for themselves how every penny is responsibly and ethically distributed.
