Mission Statement
International Children’s Network (ICN) exists to sponsor orphaned and at-risk children all the way through the university and vocational levels and gives sponsors the opportunity to meet their child face to face, no matter where he or she lives in the world.
Vision Statement
International Children’s Network (ICN) seeks to meet and advance the physical, academic, and spiritual needs of at-risk children throughout the world. It is the primary purpose of ICN to provide a network of support for every child it can, helping them pursue an education all the way through the university or vocational level. The primary method of meeting this great need is to bring a personal, relational experience between corporate and individual sponsors and the children they support.
Travel teams give the opportunity for professionals and skilled or interested volunteers to reach out to the children our international networks support, and give sponsors the unique and unprecedented experience of meeting their child face to face, and seeing first-hand the daily lives of orphaned and at-risk children in the world. This “open-source” approach is foundational to ICN’s corporate model and gives anyone interested an inside look at how the organization operates at every level. ICN also encourages its sponsor to communicate and get to know their children by writing letters, sending photos, and purchasing gifts and other items.
With an estimated 200 to 600 million orphaned and at-risk children living in the world today, ICN desires to partner with as many individuals and like-minded corporations and organizations as possible to see to the suffering of the little ones, securing hope for today and opportunity for tomorrow.
