International Travel Teams

Throughout the year ICN sends our directors and volunteers to the various countries in which we operate to check in on our programs and ensure things are running smoothly. We try to take advantage of these visits as often as possible because we are able to accomplish so much for our children and field workers when we take a large team to visit them. Many times our traveling volunteers have experience in the medical or engineering fields, which allows us to set up a medical clinic or drill wells to provide clean drinking water. Even people who feel they have little to offer in terms of great skills find themselves having the time of their life intaking child information, distributing food and clothing, or playing soccer with a group of thirty screaming children.

ICN Sponsors

Without this amazing group of individuals ICN could not exist. Our sponsors faithfully write their children, send them Christmas and birthday gifts, and consider them a part of their regular family. And indeed they are. Each one of our sponsors has an open invitation to join ICN on an outreach and visit their child. We do not plan separate trips for sponsors because we want them to be exposed to the very process that brought their children to them in the first place. However, we do try everything we can in order to accomodate our sponsors needs, whether that means staying in a more comfortable hotel or avoiding a difficult trip through the mountains. Most of the time our sponsors are so excited by the work ICN is accomplishing that they jump in and get involved from the moment their feet hit the ground.

Youth/Church Groups

Church groups often look for opportunities to set up an outreach, or "mission trip," to expose their young people to life in another part of the world. Oftentimes these trips consist of a minor construction job, a lot of souvenir shopping, and a very protected and limited look at the poverty that exists outside of the western world. Setting up an outreach with ICN will give your students the opportunity to work hard in the area of child sponsorship, hygiene, and food and clothing distribution. Holding true to ICN's model, your students will have daily exposure to the reality of at-risk and orphaned children who live outside of the western world. Medical Volunteers

If you are a doctor, dentist, PA, nurse, pharmacist, or any other professional who works in the medical world, we would love to partner with you. Please contact us if you are interested in coming on an ICN outreach. Engineers

Whatever your specialty, we want to work with you. ICN is currently focusing on developing water projects worldwide, gathering together well drilling equipment and water filtration systems to improve the health of whole villages.
